The Australian Au Pair Families Association Inc. is the leading industry association and regulation body of self-matched Au Pair agreements in Australia.
The association was formed in 2012 in-officially by concerned au pair host families and has been incorporated on a not-for-profit basis in 2014 with the aim to protect and develop the au pair experience as a flexible and affordable solution for Australian families and to ensure that au pairs can choose their family with the certainty of fair conditions and agreements.
AAPFA believes that au pairs appreciate the experience in Australia and ensures that safe placements will be available for au pairs no matter weather they take the host family search into their own hands or engage the service from an agency.
